All of the light we receive on Earth comes from the Sun.

Einstein showed that the speed of light is a universal constant. This means that it always travels at the same speed in a vacuum.

The temperature on Earth is just right for life to exist. If it was too hot or too cold it would not be habitable.

There are 8 planets in our Solar System. And there are many thousands of planets orbiting around other stars. We call these planets exoplanets. 

Impact craters are made when a space rock (called a meteorite or asteroid) hits a rocky planet or moon. The impact makes a round hole in the surface, called a crater.

Spectroscopy involves splitting light into its different wavelengths. Each chemical element emits or absorbs a unique spectrum&n
